OHCA Members Attain AHCA Quality Initiative Goals

We are pleased to recognize Delaware Court Healthcare Center for achieving all four Quality Initiative Goals!
AHCA/NCAL reports that 435 OHCA/OCAL members have achieved AHCA’s Quality Initiative goals. The Quality Initiative Recognition Program is designed to recognize AHCA/NCAL members that demonstrate the attainment of one or more of the four Quality Initiative Goals
For nursing centers, the goals are:
- Safely Reduce Hospital Readmissions by 15%
- Increase Staff Stability by 15%
- Increase Customer Satisfaction to 90%
- Safely Reduce the Off-Label Use of Antipsychotics by 15%
According to AHCA, 245 facilities have met one goal; 157 facilities have achieved 2 goals; 30 facilities have met three goals, and 4 facilities have met 4 goals. AHCA/NCAL has invited each achiever to attend the Quality Symposium in Austin, TX taking place February 23-25, 2015. Achievers will receive specialized badge ribbons reflecting their achievements, and the Tier III and IV achievers will be recognized with a specialized certificate.
Columbus Marathon
Delaware Court Healthcare Center and Country Court Nursing Center were both represented at the recent 2014 Columbus Marathon benefitting Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
